Interested in owning or learning about alpacas? New owner? Join us for the first of a series of classes. The United Nations has declared 2024 as “the Year of the Camelid.” So, we are going to be offering a series of seminars for folks interested in learning about alpacas and llamas, the camelids we raise here on our ranch. This session runs 10am to 2 pm, Saturday, May 11
Seminars start with basics of care, we will offer a second one on fiber characteristics, and a third demonstrating what to do with the fiber. These will be hands-on sessions and include handouts and light refreshments. A $10 non-refundable deposit ensures your place at a seminar. (You will receive a coupon for $10 to be used in our Ranch Store, which features a wide variety of camelid related items.

- difference between an alpaca and a llama (hands- on!)

- Feed and nutrition needs
- day-to-day running of an alpaca ranch
Lunch will include bar-b-que hot dogs and a birthday cake to celebrate Larry's birthday!
