About this Event
EDUCATION is our greatest defense against human trafficking, which victimizes approximately 30 million people each year. Traffickers prey upon marginalized communities and the vulnerable to exploit and violate their human rights through force, fraud, or coercion. Now is the time to get equipped.
Join us for candid conversations with Toni S. King, Chief District Court - 14th Judicial District, to address this national epidemic. Session topics include:
- Identifying Signs, Misconceptions, and Predatory Behavior
- Victimization and Risk Factors
- Social Media Safety
- Legal Repercussions, Advocacy, and Resources
REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Serious crime deserves serious consequences. If you or someone you know is a victim of human trafficking, call the 24-hour National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or text 233733.
'EDUCATION On Human Trafficking' is presented by Greater Life Of Fayetteville | PIN People In Need, in partnership with Judge Toni S. King, United Way of Cumberland County, City of Fayetteville, Cumberland County, Covenant Love Church, and Member Of The Greater Fayetteville Chamber.
