Education Center: Intro to Nature Journaling

Are you interested in how naturalists, scientists, and enthusiasts learn about the natural world? Do you want to learn the art of observation and foster your curosity and passion for nature? Join us for a nature journaling session! This event will start with a discussion on nature journaling. Afterwards, there will be a guided journal activity focused on observing plant leaves. Attendees are welcome to stay until 12pm to work independently.

Pencils and small sketchbooks will be provided.

Things you need to bring:

• Water bottle
• Sun hat, sunblock, and/or rain gear depending on weather
• Magnifying glass (optional)
• Any art supplies if you prefer to use specific tools and materials (optional).
