Edmonton Book Launch for Dear Da-Lê

Douglas & McIntyre and Audreys Books invite you to the Edmonton launch of Dear Da-Lê by Anh Duong with special guest filmmaker Ashley Da-Lê Duong.

This memoir recounts Anh's youth living through the Vietnam War and his unexpected time in Iran during the Iranian Revolution. Interspersed with letters from a father to his daughter, Dear Da-Lê is a coming-of-age story that sheds light on the human costs of war and displacement.

The evening will feature readings a sneak peek at a film in development by Ashley about her father's memoir and a moderated Q&A followed by a signing.
