Alberta Bike Swap is a one-day, non-profit community event where cyclists and families can safely buy and/or sell and/or donate bicycles that have been tech-checked for rideability and verified against stolen-bike databases using our proprietary copyrighted Bicycle Swap Software. This trusted swap brings together riders of all levels, quality bicycles, supports local strategic alliances, and helps fund legitimate CAN-BIKE safe cycling initiatives across Western Canada.Event Schedule:
08:00–14:00 – Consign your bike (consign)
14:00–14:30 – Peace of Mind Preview*
14:30–17:00 – Buy a bike or three
08:00-17:00 – donate a bike
*Stolen bikes are a bummer, but our tech is top-tier. We invite anyone with an active police report to do a quick it’s definitely not here lap before the doors officially open. It’s the only time the entire day's inventory is on the floor at once—come see for yourself that we’ve kept stolen bikes out!
Join us to rehome great bikes, find your next ride, and support cycling in the community. Every bike passed through the swap contributes to safer, more accessible active transportation.
Bike donations will go to Hearts Centre and Bike Edmonton.
