The City of Edmond’s Housing & Community Resources Department, in partnership with DCCCA Oklahoma, will host a free Community Wellness Event on Tuesday, June 30, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Chitwood Park, 712 West 1st Street.
This event aims to expand community awareness of local resources and support, including mental and behavioral health services, safety programs, general wellness opportunities, and more.
Edmond Connect—a coalition within the Housing & Community Resources Department and a network of committed community partners—serves as a centralized hub connecting residents with local services. This event is an extension of that mission.
A wide range of City of Edmond departments will participate, including Planning, Parks & Recreation, Urban Forestry, Edmond 911, Fire Prevention, and the Edmond Police Department. The Oklahoma County Health Department's Mobile Market will be on site with fresh fruits and vegetables, and community agencies such as the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Department, Ministries of Jesus, YMCA, and Safe Kids Oklahoma will also be present.
Attendees can enjoy free activities, including yoga, lawn games, demonstrations, and other interactive experiences for families and youth of all ages.
