The Sponseller family started the EdK Memorial 1K/5K Walk/Run in 2018 after Ed Sponseller lost his 11-year battle with Lymphoma in April 2017. Join us in honoring Ed and his love for running... any age, any distance.
All proceeds benefit the LiveSTRONG at the YMCA Program for cancer survivors The LiveSTRONG at the YMCA program is designed to treat the whole person. It is a 12-week evidenced based program that helps cancer survivors reclaim their health and well-being following a cancer diagnosis. The goal of the LiveSTRONG at the YMCA program is to empower adult cancer survivors to improve functional capacity and to increase their quality of life through group fitness and strength training.
