About this Event
Join us for an evening celebrating the first year of - an exciting project brought to life through a partnership between Creative Edinburgh, Edinburgh City Council, Edinburgh College, Edinburgh Napier University, Queen Margaret University and University of Edinburgh.
This is an opportunity to hear directly about what Pathways is, why we embarked on this journey, and where we’re headed next. Whether you're a colleague from education or industry, a strategic partner, a student or graduate interested in taking part, or just someone curious about what's possible when creativity and collaboration meet, we'd love to have you in the room.
About the Evening
Pathways is about building real, meaningful connections between students, recent graduates, and the wider creative and cultural industries in Edinburgh. On the night, you'll have the chance to:
- Hear directly from students and recent graduates about their experience with the project so far
- Learn about our ambitious plans for Year 2 and discuss what success looks like for this pilot
- Explore opportunities to get involved, collaborate, and stay connected
- Connect with colleagues from across education, the arts, festivals, and industry
This is a space for conversation, inspiration, and possibility, and we want you to be part of it.
Light refreshments will be served, including snacks, finger food, and drinks.
How are we making sure this event is accessible?
If you have any access requirements, please let us know during registration or contact us directly, and we will do our very best to help. Unfortunately, there won't be a BSL interpreter present at the event.
Getting to Edinburgh City Chambers
Edinburgh City Chambers is accessible through the main courtyard, with the entrance located at the rear of a quadrangle. The City Chambers is on the North side of the historic Royal Mile named the High Street, between North Bridge and George IV Bridge/Bank Street and directly opposite Parliament Square. Traffic is restricted on this section of the Royal Mile and if driving you should approach from the West, going downhill from George IV Bridge/Bank Street.
Although there are a couple of steps on the footpath, the road entrance is flat. While there are no steps as you enter the building on level 5, there is a small gutter. While most wheelchair users can navigate the gutter, the venue's Events Team can arrange a ramp on request. (Tel. 01310 529 4478 or email in advance).
There are two lifts to access level 7 where the meeting rooms are located and one of these can accommodate the largest wheelchairs. All rooms have Wi-Fi access.
Read more about the accessibility of the venue on Euan's Guide here.
