Join us at the Assembly Rooms for Edinburgh’s only independent spring wine festival – Edinburgh Uncorked – a celebration of wines from all over the world. Hosted by Wine Events Scotland’s Diana Thompson and featuring 2026 special guest Joe Wadsack, this event offers a unique chance to discover great wines at great prices!
Taste your way around the world with hundreds of wines, meet dozens of producers and experts, and take part in engaging wine workshops. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned enthusiast, there’s something for everyone to discover at Edinburgh Uncorked.
You can select from two available time slots: 12-3pm or 4-7pm. If you purchase an Early Bird Ticket by 1 September, you will also receive a complimentary Guided Tasting Masterclass along with your event entry. Tickets are from £26 which grants you the chance to taste and sample every wine featured at the event, plus some enticing offers which might tempt you to take your favorites home.
Meet Joe Wadsack
Joe Wadsack is the drinks expert on BBC TV's 'Food and Drink: Series 3' with host Tom Kerridge. Joe studied wine-making in Bordeaux and has since worked as a wine buyer and consultant for a number of leading supermarket chains. Joe's other roles include Richard and Judy’s wine expert on Channel 4 as well as his own series 'Great Wine Walks' for UKTV’s Good Food Channel.
