Stéphanie Krus

[ Twitter / LinkedIn ]

Stéphanie is a service designer for the National Care Service (Scottish Government).

She has a background in teaching and computing initially and never really studied service design as such, but has learned ‘by doing’ in previous roles in the public sector.

She enjoys attending various events about design or accessibility to learn from others and is one of the four organisers of the UX Glasgow meet-up.

You can find resources around accessibility and inclusion on her blog or learn more about projects she was involved in like the ‘Practitioner Stories’ with Angela F. Orviz, Serena Nüsing and Vinishree Verma which is a self initiated research project aiming to collect stories on how to better support, grow and build up the service design community in Scotland.

This session will:

  • help you get a better understanding of what digital inclusion is
  • explain the differences between accessibility, assisted digital support and inclusion
  • introduce the concept of universal barriers
  • give some advice on how to be more inclusive while designing your service and delivering it
  • provide extra resources to explore this further

Stéphanie will be presenting remotely.
