Guest speaker, psychologist Dr Emma Field (ADHD Scotland), will explore the overlap between ADHD and dyslexia, focusing on how differences in attention, processing and executive functioning influence thinking, decision-making, and daily life.
Emma will discuss the strengths and challenges; how lived experiences shape self-perception (particularly self-criticism); and introduce some strategies to support balanced thinking, self-awareness, and self-compassion.
There will be time for discussions and questions.
The meeting will be facilitated by Dyslexia Scotland volunteers Angus and Mark.
