Edinburgh Climate Conference (ECC) 2022

Following our success our inaugural Edinburgh Climate Conference (ECC) last year, the Institutions of Civil Engineers and Engineering & Technology would like to invite you to our in-person event at the Royal Edinburgh Botanic Gardens on the 16th June 2022. The event duration will be held from 08:00 to 23:00 hours with lectures during the day and a dinner in the evening. Your organisation can attend all or part of the event.

Our Key Note Speaker Lorna Slater MSP, co-leader of the Scottish Green Party and Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy and Biodiversity, will be joined be other Subject Matter Experts to disseminate their experience concerning our 'Climate Crisis'. The scope of the lectures will focus on, ‘How we build the new sustainable future’. The lectures will be held at the Botanics Lecture hall on Inverleith Row.

A Botanics garden experts will progress a private talk inside the Caledonian Hall between the lectures and dinner.

There will be a pre-dinner drinks reception at the John Hope Gateway building leading upstairs to the dinner. We look forward to meeting and networking with you and the other attendees.
