My mom kept a South American Figurative Clay Sculpture in the dining room. The sculpture, called a storyteller doll, features a seated grandmother with small grandchildren crawling on her lap. Purchased on one of their many trips, this piece reflected the importance of storytelling to my mom. In celebration of the time we shared with Edie, we invite you to join us to share stories.
We invite you to think of a time, a moment, a story that stands out in your mind when you think back on time spent with Edie. Come ready to listen, share, and remember. Through the stories we share, the moments of laughter, the puns, the insight of meditative cows, we will carry Edie with us.
This open-house style event will be held at the Foundry. Come at the time you are available and stay as long as you'd like. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be available.
We wanted to include some of Edie's favorite foods. Come and enjoy German potato salad, sausages, sauerkraut, mac & cheese, turkey, carrot cake and of course, a bit of beer!
Please RSVP so we can have an accurate estimate for food.
If you are unable to come, but would like to leave a story or memory, please add it to the comments.
