Edible LA's Women on Fire

Edible LA and Big Green Egg are collaborating on an iconic event to honro Big Green Egg's 50th Anniversary. With FIVE top tier female chefs on FIVE Big Green Eggs, we're bringing Eastside food to the Westside of Los Angeles at the perfect venue, Le Great Outdoor. Time for Big Green Egg to steal the spotlight as Los Angelenos sample fantastic food and drink gorgeous cocktails at this Arts District outdoor restaurant. Headling the chef lineup is Ellen Marie Bennett, much-loved Latina chef and founder of Hedley & Bennett, every chef's favorite apron company.

The Venue

In the heart of Santa Monica's walkable Arts District, Le Great Outdoor is all about nature, food, people, and cooking over an open fire.

Hosing our Women on Fire celebration, Head Chef Rudy spent four years cooking at Michelin Star restaurants in France, worked with Joel Robuchon, and moved to LA at 23 to work under Travis Lett at Gjusta.

The venue not only has great parking and fabulous galleries, but the Metro station is close by so you can easily arrive from Pasadena, DTLA, and Culvery City.

The Party

Ellen Marie Bennett leads our Women on Fire chefs as they cook on their Big Green Eggs in and around the restaurant.

VIP Panel will include five chefs talking about live fire cooking as well as a special conversation with five culinary content creators.

Our charity partner is Regarding Her, the awesome female-owned restaurant organization.

Also soundscapes, music, content creator workshop, brand activations and more!
