Presenter Bio
Carol Salami-Goswick has been a Master Gardener since 2001 in Macon, Georgia and Eugene, Oregon. Landscapes, trees, and sustainable gardening were her primary interests. Herbs and edible gardening became an interest after using herbs as sustainable landscape plants in her own garden. Carol is currently experimenting with herbs from other cultures in the GrassRoots Garden where she coordinates the Master Gardener Herbs and Edible Flowers Herb Talks.
Denene Roberts first became a Master Gardener in 2005, left due to returning to work, and resumed in 2021 after retiring. Her current interests are working in the demo garden and at the GrassRoots herb garden that the MG group, The Herbies, maintains. Denene is a member of both the Edible Garden group and the Native Plant and Pollinator group. She is working to plant more native plants in her garden and maintain a herb and rose garden, which has been a lifelong interest of hers.
