About this Event
David Atherton, the winner of The Great British Bake Off 2019, will be teaching a class at Sarum Hall Food Studio on Saturday 29th of January. With the theme 'Edible Creatures' you can look forward to creating Snakey Bread Sticks, Mouse Cupcakes, and Chocolate Garden Cups. David follows a healthy baking approach and all recipes will be packed full of hidden vegetables, seeds, fruits and grains. You'll also sit down for tea with your fellow classmates at the end of the session and enjoy what you have made together.
Timings
- 1.45pm - arrival and welcome
- 2.00pm - class starts
- 4.30pm - sit for tea together, eat what you've made!
- 5.00pm - finish and pick up

This class is suitable for children aged 7 - 12 years old.

About the teacher
David Atherton is the winner of The Great British Bake Off 2019. David's first cookbook for children 'My First Cook Book: Bake, Make and Learn to Cook', inspired a generation of young cooks to create healthy, imaginative recipes for their friends and family. David is a food writer and an international health advisor for a charity. He has worked on health programmes around the world and never misses an opportunity to explore new food culture. David is passionate about ensuring that children grow up as food lovers and understand how to make tasty, healthy food.
