“On the frontier of your own heart, there is a new beginning waiting for you.” ~ John O'DonohueEDGES is a day-long dance immersion devoted to the places where you meet yourself most honestly. We gather to move at the frontier of sensation, story, & soul — to discover what becomes possible when we dare to inhabit the thresholds we usually hover near. The edge is not the place where things end; it is the place where the invisible begins to reveal itself. Through guided movement, dynamic solo work, & active, responsive witnessing, we practice crossing from the familiar into the shimmering unknown. Stand where your fear meets your longing — that seam is the threshold of your becoming.
This is deep, embodied inquiry — dance as initiation, circle as crucible, the body as oracle. Together we explore the wisdom of liminal space: the trembling before the breakthrough, the moment a boundary becomes a doorway. Edges are teachers. They ask only this: bring your full presence & step without guarantees. Every boundary in a soul is a gateway waiting for the courage of the one who approaches. Over the course of the day, you will meet your edges in motion, witness others at theirs, & learn how to stay awake, open, & attuned in the heat of transformation. Your life will continue to offer you edges until you understand they are invitations. And herein lies the magic: when you walk to the very brink of yourself, something ancient walks out to meet you.
This is not a beginner workshop. Please reach out if you are new to dance & you want to attend to [email protected].
