Eden Terrace & Mt Eden Summit
About this Event
Start in the streets and work our way up to the best view in the city.
We're meeting in Eden Terrace at 6:00pm to walk the old villas and back lanes while the light's still warm and low, then head up toward the Mt Eden summit as the evening deepens — arriving in time to catch the sun dropping over the CBD and harbour from the top.
Once we've had our fill of the summit view we'll come back down through Eden Terrace's narrow streets as the streetlights click on, trading the wide open sky for close, textured lit-up frontages on the way out.
No theme, no pressure. You'll be walking alongside a friendly, easygoing group of photographers, all looking at the same stretch of city and seeing something slightly different in it.
Please note:
Maungawhau / Mt Eden's summit gates are managed by the Tūpuna Maunga Authority and are currently listed as open until 8:30pm during daylight saving.
These time is subject to change and will be confirmed a few days befor ethe event begins.
