Join us on Tuesday April 8th for "Eddie's Fight is Our Fight" as we honor 1997 Pennsbury Baseball Alum Eddie Woodruff and join him in his fight against cancer.
In August of 2022, Eddie was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called Myelodysplastic Syndrome(MDS). In October his MDS progressed to Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). It's an aggressive cancer warranting aggressive treatment. Eddie has completed five different rounds of chemotherapy and is now scheduled to receive a bone marrow/stem cell transplant in April. During this time Eddie has been out of work and will continue to be out of work while he rebuilds his immune system.
On Tuesday April 8th, Eddie will throw out the first pitch at our game vs CR South. The Pennsbury Baseball Parents Club is selling bracelets at the game, but will also accept donations in the form of cash/check/Venmo.
