Eddie Watkins Jr. is a legendary Motown bass player, singer, and songwriter who has touched hearts and souls around the world with his inspirational music. Eddie has recorded with Marvin Gaye, Barbra Streisand, Quincy Jones, James Brown, Santana, Cher, Diana Ross, Herbie Hancock, Patti LaBelle, the Pointer Sisters, Peter Frampton, Gato Barbieri, The Temptations, Phyllis Hyman, Norman Connors, Thelma Houston, Nancy Wilson - the list goes on and on.
Eddie had a spiritual awakening in 1995, and it led him on a new journey from Motown to New Thought praise and worship music. He realized that he was here to serve and to spread this message of New Thought/Ancient Wisdom principles to the world through his special brand of music.
Eddie served 3 years as music director at Center For Spiritual Living Greater Las Vegas under Rev. Doug Foglesong and 3 years as choir director and director of music ministries at The Center For Spiritual Living Seattle under Rev Dr. Kathianne Lewis. In 2017 Eddie settled in Florida and served as music director at the Center For Creative Living in St Johns Fl and is currently serving as Music director at the Center For Spiritual Living St Augustine Fl alongside the Rev Dr Ken Wilcox.
Tickets for the October 11th concert go on sale September 15th! $22 per person or $20 each if two or more are purchased at the same time.
