reserve you spot at sipsociety.coffee/ecuador

Visit coffee farms, meet coffee producers, cup coffee at origin, and experience how specialty coffee is grown, processed, and shared throughout the world during this seven-day educational journey in Ecuador.

Whether you're a coffee professional or coffee connoisseur, this experience will transform the way you understand every cup.

At Sip Society, We Believe Coffee Was Never Meant to Be Experienced Only in a Cup

Every bag of coffee tells a story.

Every cup begins with a farmer, a landscape, a harvest, and generations of knowledge.

Most of us only experience the final chapter.

We find ourselves at the end of a very long value stream.

This September, Sip Society is partnering with Uncommon Ways & Ecuador Origin Coffee for an immersive coffee origin experience through Ecuador. You'll visit working coffee farms, meet producers, learn how specialty coffee is grown and processed, and experience the culture and communities behind one of the world's most remarkable agricultural products.

We won’t be roughing-it, but this isn't a sightseeing vacation.

It's an educational travel experience designed to connect you with coffee at its source.

What You'll Experience

Throughout the week you'll:

  • Tour working specialty coffee farms across Ecuador.
  • Meet coffee farmers and producing families.
  • Learn how coffee is cultivated, harvested, processed, dried, milled, and prepared for export.
  • Experience coffee harvesting and processing firsthand.
  • Participate in professional coffee cuppings at origin.
  • Learn how fermentation, drying methods, and terroir influence flavor.
  • Experience Ecuadorian culture, cuisine, and hospitality.
  • Build lasting relationships with a small group of coffee professionals and fellow enthusiasts.

Every day is designed to deepen your understanding of specialty coffee while creating meaningful connections with the people who dedicate their lives to producing it.

Participation is intentionally limited to no more than 12 travelers to create a more personal and immersive experience.

Why Ecuador?

Ecuador is one of South America's emerging specialty coffee origins. Its diverse climates, volcanic soils, and high elevations create ideal growing conditions for exceptional coffee.

During this experience you'll visit farms in multiple coffee-growing regions while learning how geography, climate, processing methods, and producer decisions shape the flavors found in every cup.

If you've ever wondered what "coffee origin" really means, there's no better way to learn than by experiencing it firsthand.
