Ecstatic Hearts with Yamanjo

We're excited to host our first ecstatic dance at HeartLab with Yemanjo!

Note that doors close at 7:30 pm, dancing is 8-10, and we'll get to hang out after 10pm and catch up ❤️

COVID STUFF - You will need to show proof at the door of either a negative PCR Covid test within 72 hours, or full vaccination (2 weeks after last shot).

DOORS CLOSE AT 7:30! Arrive between 7:00-7:30. No late arrivals. We'll have an opening circle to drop in and connect, dance from 8-10, and hang out and connect after that.

WHAT TO BRING - A water bottle and a closed cup for tea. If you'd like to bring a treat to share, feel free.

TRANSPORTATION - Parking is medium-hard. There are 3 bike racks out front - be sure to lock up. No personal vehicles are allowed inside.

About Yemanjo:

Yemanjo is a project of DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist Ben Harris. Inspired as much by the African music he was exposed to growing up in the Bay Area as by the folkloric sounds he encountered on solo South American wanderings, Yemanjo’s sound is both constantly evolving and difficult to define. His body of work is stylistically diverse yet grounded in an earthy organic feeling born of Harris’ belief in the power of music as medicine. The production reflects a deep respect for the myriad cultural idioms he works within, yet he spins this sonic universe into something completely his own.

When not on tour in the US or Europe, Yemanjo can be found an integral part of the flowering conscious events scene in his adopted home of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
