Ecstatic Dance is a community gathering for people who want to express themselves freely, to connect, and to expand together through the inspiration of music & dance.

Join us and enjoy a safe and inspiring space to dance without talking, drinking, and the nightclub vibe. This is about self-expression, freeing your mind and body, and connecting with yourself and those around you. No booze, no shoes and no chit-chat on the dance floor helps us keep it intentional. Amazing music helps us keep it all about dance.

There will also be a beautiful lounge space to relax, decorated as well as refreshing, alcohol-free beverages and food.

➤ Guidelines:

1. No talking on the dance floor (plenty of room to talk in the lounge space up on the balcony)

2. Drug-Free, Smoke-Free, Alcohol-Free environment

3. No photos or videos, cellphones muted and out of sight

4. Respect for the space and one another

5. Move your body however you wish!

➤ What to Bring:

1. Loose-fitting clothes that let you move your body and free yourself

2. Water and a water bottle. You can refill it at the venue. We do not provide plastic cups as we strive to be a zero-waste event.

3. Coat check will be available to allow dancers to store their coats, bags and other valuables. You can also leave your belongings in the back of the dance floor, but please note that Ecstatic Dance NYC is not responsible for any lost/stolen items.

➤ Tickets:

$30 the full experience includes warm up class, edance, sound healing:

After 8pm- $20 join us after our warm up class and stay till the end.

We highly encourage advanced tickets. Limited tickets will be available at the door based on capacity

Tickets are non-transferable between events and non-refundable.

REMINDERS:

Beware of fake ticket sellers offering tickets on the Facebook page.

Be mindful of others personal space and always ask for consent. It takes all of us to create this container. If you are going through a hard time or need any help please find one of our organizers or staff.

A note on COVID: Please be mindful of everyone's personal space. COVID is indeed real and we are really trying to do this right. We know this has all been a lot for everyone and that there is a spectrum of where folx fall with their comfort levels. Lets be extra mindful and gentle. We know how sweaty and lovely edance can be.

We want to keep our community safe. If you are feeling unwell please sit this one out. If you want to get tested before by all means , want to wear a mask you can. Please practice radical self reliance. And if you need to take a break in the park or relax in our lounge please do!

Per NYC mandate all indoor events must be fully vaccinated. We know this may bring up issues for some of our community and the last thing we want to do is alienate any one. Our dance is meant to unite.

We know there are many opinions on this matter and please be gentle with our community, our staff the church and us. We are all navigating this together and let's keep this about the dance.
