Ecstatic Dance OKC- Final Dance of 2024!

We’re so excited to welcome back The Robinson Brothers to groove with us along with an opening folk dance from Kenzie Grubitz-Simpson and closing sound and regenerative movement fusion from Kelsey Elledge and Emily Williams, December 20th from 7-10pm at International Dance Studio! 🥳

🎟 Tickets are available through Eventbrite and at the door! We are a donation based event with a $25 suggested donation. Please give generously, and give what you can. Ecstatic Dance OKC would not exist without your financial support!

🦋We are going through some transformations leading up to the new year! Please keep the following thoughts in mind as we approach our next indoor dance:

⭐️ This event is focused on creating a safe and supportive container for transformation through dance and movement, and to keep the space safe for all we ask that parents practice responsible parenting - Please ensure that children respect and follow the same rules of the space as the adults. Supervised children are encouraged to dance along side the community, but for children and parents needing a break to talk or play a separate room will provided.

⭐️Practicing sacred silence is required by all entering the container - We encourage folks to connect in community, but if you would like to chat or use your cell phone, please do so in a designated space outside the main dance room.

⭐️Keep an eye out for our new required sign in method upon arrival - Check in with our volunteers stationed at the entrance for a refresher on our code of kind conduct and a waiver for all attendees.

⭐️ As per our usual dance guidelines, we dance as if no-one is watching - Please keep cameras and recording equipment put away. If you see our social media manager Emily taking photos, have no fear! She will be wearing a volunteer badge, will always put your privacy and safety first, and will not photograph or record dancers without consent.

⭐️Ecstatic Dance is a sober event - Music is our medicine! Please refrain from partaking in drugs and alcohol in the dance space.

⭐️Enthusiastic consent is needed before touching. - We love to see folks share the magic of dance and encourage couples to attend together. However, please respect the boundaries and autonomy of others by refraining from touching without first asking and receiving enthusiastic consent.

Ecstatic Dance is a freeform movement journey facilitated by a professional DJ and performed in a safe and sacred environment. It's a place where participants can be themselves while still being linked to something bigger.
