We were built for Love.This month’s Ecstatic Dance is about the artistry and adventure of living our love out loud – for ourselves and for our community. We’re exploring what it actually means to show up in our lives through art, connection, dance, celebration and the thread that ties us all together; really freaking good music!

WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE?
Ecstatic Dance is a freeform, conscious dance practice and sound journey. Created by the community for the community, these are intentional, co-creative containers for exploring embodiment, self- expression, catharsis, and play—all through the transformative mediums of movement and music.
This is a space to be yourself, discover yourself, become yourself, and support one another in doing the same.
INTRODUCING OUR DJ: KASIA
Meet Kasia, a passionate and active member of the vibrant KW electronic music scene. Known for her deep, beautiful and hypnotic grooves, she has a unique ability to create a sonic experience that gets your body moving and your spirit soaring. With a love for the dance floor, Kasia skillfully blends her favorite styles-deep house, minimal deep tech, psy tech and tech house into sets that resonate with seasoned dancers and newcomers alike. Each performance/set is a journey, inviting listeners to lose themselves in the rhythm and energy of the moment. Get ready to immerse yourself in the music, community and feel good. Can't wait to see you on the dance floor.

Offered by Reva Wild, who will be supporting our grounding and integration at the close of our dance.
INTRODUCING REVA WILD:
Reva is an international facilitator and relationship coach that has been a part of the dance and transformative arts communities in Kitchener and Toronto for the past 12 years. With an academic background in relationship and trauma studies as well as professional training in dance, embodiment, sound healing, tantra and authentic relating forms, her work is inherently relational and invites participants into their full capacity to be with life and liberate their deep aliveness. You can always find her front and center, absolutely wild on the dance floor.

PLEASE BRING a water bottle and loose clothing that allows you to move freely.
PARKING:
There is parking available at the venue, but space is limited. The nearest over-flow parking garage is at the KPL, a five minute walk from us, and street parking is also available on some side streets (e.g. Ahrens, Roy, Margaret).
If you have accessibility needs and require a spot at the Church’s lot, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to reserve a spot for you.
