We are happy to announce that Kaap will transform into a stage for Ecstatic Dance every Wednesday evening from Wednesday 27 November. This is an invitation to immerse yourself in a world of music, dance and free self-expression in a unique free space in Amsterdam (With free parking). A place to be yourself and to connect with yourself and with each other.
For our first edition on Wednesday, we have managed to enlist the talented Jethro. In recent years, he has developed into a master in creating magical, musical journeys that take you to the depths of your soul. Each edition has been carefully composed, so that you have a harmonious experience from start to finish.
Wednesday program Ecstatic Dance Kaap from 18:00 – 22:00
18:00 – 19:00 walk-in + food + conscious bar
19:00 – 19:30 walk-in without food
19:30 – 20:00 ceremony/opening
20:00 – 22:00 dance
22:00 – 22:30 walk-out + conscious bar
Ecstatic Dance Guidelines:
Ecstatic dance is a magical dance and music journey on a two-hour set by one of our DJ’s. It is both a journey with yourself and with each other, without talking. This allows you to go deeper into your body and make more and better contact with it. This is one of the essential differences with a normal dance or club night. Because you do not fall into talking or chitchat, you can literally end up on another layer or in another dimension and discover other parts of yourself and others. At times even in total ecstasy and bliss, without drugs and without alcohol, and barefoot. Free to dance alone or together. Will you come and create magic with us, play and experiment?
Practical
* Time: Doors open at 18:00 for a delicious fresh veggie soup (not mandatory, but definitely worth it!). The dance starts at 19:30 and lasts two hours. * Ceremony: Each session will be introduced and concluded with a ceremony at 7:00 PM, with which we can celebrate the energy of dance and the connection with each other.

* Soup: €7,50 in advance, €9 on location (served until 19.30).
