What is Ecstatic Dance? Ecstatic Dance is a freeform movement journey, held in a safe, sober, and sacred container. No experience necessary - all you need is a body! Beginners welcome!We will move our bodies to 5 different rhythms - flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness. There's no wrong way to do it.
I have found that this practice can be like a moving prayer, helping me to shake loose whatever energies I am ready to release. I love to set an intention, and dance it into the world. I connect with my body, asking it, "How do you need to move?"
