🌟Welcome to Cocoon Ecstatic Dance 🌟
Cocoon is lovingly co-founded by Morpho and Olivia, who share a love of dance, sacred spaces, transformation and creating community. We believe in the power of music and dance to reconnect us to ourselves, to each other, and to something greater.
Our vision is to create a sacred space where you can be your most authentic self, to dance however you want, to explore what’s alive within you, to feel deeply, and to let go of what no longer serves. Through this embodied journey, letting the music be your guide, transformation naturally unfolds.

🌿 Cocoon Ecstatic Dance in the Park 🌿
Step out of the city and into nature for a special outdoor edition of Cocoon Ecstatic Dance. Surrounded by trees and open sky, we gather to move, connect, and journey together through music in a beautiful woodland space.
Using headphones, you’ll be guided through an immersive soundscape — starting gently, building into an energising peak, and softening into a grounded, integrative close. This is a space to express freely, release what you’re holding, and reconnect with your body and breath.
Whether you come to dance wildly, move softly, or simply be present, you are welcome exactly as you are.

🌿 Weather
This is an outdoor event and weather dependent. We will monitor the forecast closely — in case of heavy or persistent rain, the event will be cancelled on the morning of the event and full refunds will be issued via Eventbrite. Light rain? We dance — just bring waterproofs.

Opening circle and ecstatic dance
Info: We will have an opening circle to connect the group and go through the guidelines for the dance. The dance will be unguided, a free-flow dance. Let the music be your guide. There will be a warm-down at the end.

Closing circle
Info: We'll close the dance with an opportunity to share your experience for those who want to.

Social with fruit and tea
Info: We'll be offering fruit and tea to nourish you after the dance and giving you the chance to connect with your fellow dancers. Feel free to bring food if you would like to have more to eat following the dance.
