💃🏼 What is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic Dance is a global movement—a sacred, freeform dance journey where rhythm and expression merge. Guided by a DJ’s carefully woven soundscape, dancers embark on a two-hour voyage through music and movement, unlocking deep somatic awareness. It’s an uninhibited space to connect with body, spirit, and sound, where every beat invites freedom, presence, and transformation.
✨About the Dj✨
DJFS is an eclectic musician and multidisciplinary artist based in SLC. He/they/she draws inspiration from different genres, including jazz, rock, classical, ambient and more, filtering them through a sonic sieve to find the best beats, melodies and refrains to keep people moving, bopping, and grooving. They perform at festivals, bars, parties and cocktail hours, bringing joyful, soulful, and sensual vibes into every set.
🌸Guidelines for safety & deep inner connection:
•Phones & cameras stay with shoes
•Silence on the dance floor
•Substance free space
•Fragrance free space
•Judgement free space
•No physical contact unless consensual
💫 Ecstatic Dance is every Sunday 💫
