DJ INFIN8i aka Brian Mcneel, discovered Ecstatic Dance in 2019 and immediately recognized it as a space where he could authentically be himself, find healing, and feel a sense of belonging. Falling in love with the vibrant community and powerful music, Ecstatic Dance has become a vital moving meditation in Brian’s life.
Drawing inspiration from the sense of community he experienced in Salt Lake City’s rave culture during the 1990s, Brian now embraces Ecstatic Dance for its sober environment and emphasis on connection, freedom of expression, joy, and healing. In 2023, Brian celebrated his 40th Ecstatic Dance as a DJ, considering the co-creation of the dance as one of his greatest joys.
Beyond his role as a DJ, Brian is also a producer of dance music spanning various genres, including downtempo, breaks, house, and experimental styles. His passion for melodic passages, strong rhythms, and the incorporation of inspiring non-diegetic/orchestral music adds a unique and enriching dimension to his mixes. Join Brian on a journey of self-discovery, connection, and joyful expression through the transformative experience of Ecstatic Dance.

Ecstatic Dance is a community event where: Freeform dance is practiced to break free of limitations, to feel seen, and be held in a safe container with like minded individuals. Come to activate, express, and energize your soul body.

* BE PRESENT (leave your phones & cameras off the dance floor)
* EMBODIMENT (talk free zone)
* CLEAR MIND (Sober & Substance free)
* BE CONSENSUAL (make eye contact and CONFIRM a “YES”, respect others space, hands at heart or looking away means “NO THANK YOU”
* GROUNDING (no street shoes, dance shoes are allowed)
* SCENT FREE (no burning or strong perfumes/smells)
* BE FREE. DANCE HOW YOU WANT. NO JUDGEMENT.
