Summer dancing continues! Join us for another unforgettable evening of music, movement, and community as we welcome our special guest Flint Blade to Ecstatic Dance Cleveland.
Flint Blade weaves sonic textures from across the galaxy to create uplifting soundscapes, crafted live in the moment.
Channeling inspiration through electronics, beatbox, vocals, and a variety of world instruments, Flint has become known for his mastery of the Chapman Stick—a rare instrument most people have never seen before.
Invented in California in 1969, the Chapman Stick combines bass and guitar into a full-range fretboard played exclusively through two-handed tapping, creating rich tapestries of sound filled with whimsy and wonder.
Based in South Florida, Flint tours nationally, performing at festivals, ecstatic dances, and conscious gatherings while releasing music through High Vibe Records and his own label, In Love Records.
Drawing inspiration from diverse musical traditions, Flint blends ethereal new age, dub reggae, jazz, downtempo electronica, and high-energy house into his signature "Jambient" sound—music that invites people out of their heads, into their bodies, and onto the dance floor.
