𝑅𝓊𝒷𝒶𝒷𝒶 (Hemant Kapoor) will be our guide for a special 𝘌𝘤𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘒𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯 journey from open to close to ring in the New Year! Join us for an electrifying fusion of ecstatic dance and sacred chanting in our vibrant Ecstatic Kirtan event. Immerse yourself in rhythmic electronic beats, live vocals, and instrumentals as we blend movement with the ancient practice of Kirtan chanting, creating a space for spiritual exploration and ecstatic joy. Let your body move freely to the uplifting melodies, while your soul finds solace in the collective chants. Come awaken your spirit and connect with like-minded souls in a celebration of music, movement, and divine energy. @rubabamurid
The event will begin with gentle movement warmup, bring us up to a dance peak, and close with a Naad Yoga sound bath to ground our energy before a closing integration circle. Limited pillows and blankets provided, please free to bring cozy items and wear comfy clothing to heighten your experience.

What is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic Dance is a freeform dance meditation that allows you to embody your most joyful and playful self in a safe container. You can expect to hear music with influences from all around the world and eras. The intent is to create a sacred dance container where we can expand our consciousness, build community and allow our inner child to dance and be free for all ages and walks of life.
The guidelines of the container are simple:
- Consent first! ALWAYS wait for consent before dancing with someone. By entering this space, you are not consenting to dancing with anyone other than yourself. If you don’t wish to dance with someone, we encourage you to put your hands in a prayer position to thank them for the offer and move along.
- No shoes. Grounding us into the earth and preventing toes from being stepped on.
- No chit chat on the dance floor to keep the energy flowing. Screaming out in joy is encouraged! If you wish to make deeper connections, the chill out space is available for low volume conversation.
- No alcohol or substances. This keeps us present with each other and our consent boundaries.
- No photos or video of the dance floor. This allows everyone to fully express without fear of judgement. Photos and videos of the DJs and performers are allowed with consent.
- All forms of movement or rest is encouraged! Go relax in the chill out space with a blanket and pillow to take a sensory break or take a moment to stretch in the corner of the dance floor. The music will be waiting for you when you’re ready to return!
