Ecstatic Dance: A Practice to Process Emotions Through Movement

Ecstatic Dance is neither "ecstatic" nor "dance;" discuss! ;-)

This nonverbal practice is an opportunity to move our bodies however feels right to us, as inspired by our genuine emotional experience. From simply sitting still and breathing, to frenzied gyrations, and everything in between, it's all part of The Dance.

For safety reasons, we must limit the number of participants. Please do register if you solidly plan on attending. If you do not register, you are still welcome to come and participate if space allows.

There is no cost to register; however, we will be requesting "pay what you choose" admission contributions. This event is offered pro bono; contributions will go towards recouping the out-of-pocket cost of the event ($100). Any funds collected in addition to the event cost will go towards funding future events.

YOU MUST BE PRESENT FOR THE OPENING CIRCLE IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DANCE. The opening circle begins promptly at 7pm; please arrive before then to allow time to settle in and/or warm up.
