Join us for the inaugural event in the Environmental Council of Sacramento Power Networking series! Worsening storms and flooding, extreme heat, poor air quality, and the loss of lands that provide natural solutions are impacting the lives of Sacramentans more than ever. There is no shortage of climate change and public health impacts – or efforts to address them – to report on! Learn how local members of the journalism, media, and outreach community identify pertinent topics and select which stories make it to your front page.
Join us for a panel discussion and Q&A with representatives from Abridged, CapRadio, News & Review, and more to learn about local journalism and outreach efforts related to the environment. The panel discussion and Q&A will be followed by a networking period to continue conversations, forge relationships for information sharing, and to advocate for effective coverage on environmental priorities in the Sacramento region.
