Witness a successful campus composting system and learn how to start composting on your own campus.
Re-imagine your classroom as a laboratory for applied sustainability education! Explore how EcoRise curriculum, resources, and grant funds for student-driven projects can be used to increase student engagement and cultivate eco-literacy your campus and in your community. Through this interactive professional development, teachers will access the tools that they need to help their students evaluate sustainability issues related to water, food, air, energy, transportation, waste and public spaces.
In this fast-paced session, learn how to conduct an eco-audit and how to apply for classroom grants from our Student Innovation Fund.
Access dozens of easy-to-implement design activities that you can use with your own students in a remote or in-person environment.
- Experience our Design Studio curriculum through a sustainability-themed design challenge to empower students to design impactful solutions to sustainability challenges.
- Explore how to apply for an Eco-Audit Grant, our student-driven project fund, and review examples of successful student campus and community projects.
Participating teachers will receive CPE and GT credit. Breakfast snacks and coffee will be provided. The first 20 teachers to register and attend will recieve a $150 HEB gift card for supplies.
