Ecoprint on Leather & Luncheon Retreat

What will you be doing? We will be working on creating beautiful ecoprints on kidskin leather using Nature's colors for a natural imprint and techniques for added color on leather. The weight of the kidskin for the class can be sewn on a home sewing machine! I will have assorted tools and scrap leather available for students to see what is involved in hand stitching the heavier leather and a recommended tools list to continue! You will also learn how to select the proper leather for ecoprinting as well as care and maintenance of your leather.
​Because our studio is in the country, a Gourmet Lunch is provided and includes scrumptious sandwiches, a light salad and various quiches. Coffee, tea and bottles water is available all day.
