Based in Newcastle, Canberra, Sydney, and places in between, the environmental choir Ecopella will converge at 14 Alma Rd, New Lambton for an afternoon concert of ‘save-the-world’ music. All the proceeds will be donated to Rising Tide to support the essential work they do defending our planet’s climate.
Passionate, satirical and creative, Ecopella has been spreading its a cappella manifesto since 1998. Its sense of fun fills each performance with positive and satirical messages. Even when the mood becomes serious the beauty and solemnity of the music uplifts the listener.
Also appearing will be Tripple Effect, a Newcastle-based folk trio who use ukes, guitars, banjo, and vocal harmonies in songs that speak to the heart about social and environmental concerns.
