Join ecoEXPLORE in wrapping up Botany Field Season by celebrating Native Azaleas! Did you know the NC Arboretum is home to the National Native Azalea Collection? We'll gather here and begin with a guided hike to view our Spring Azaleas and many other wildflowers in bloom. We'll also have crafts, a discussion about careers in Botany, Horticulture, and more! This event takes place during the weekend-long City Nature Challenge and EcoEXPLORERS can earn points toward their Bioblitz Badge by taking photographs of wild plants we see on our excursion. Event spaces are limited, and pre-registration is required!
