oin us for the second edition of EcoRun, Tadweer Group’s annual community run dedicated to raising awareness and inspiring action against single-use plastics.
Taking place during Plastic Free July, EcoRun brings together families, corporates and community members for an energising indoor run that promotes healthier lifestyles, stronger community engagement and a shared commitment to a more sustainable future.
Event Overview
The event will take place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, inside Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. The run will begin at 6:45am, starting with the 10km distance, followed by the 5km at 6:50am, and the 2.5km at 6:55am. The course is designed as a 2.5km indoor loop through Yas Mall. Participants in the 2.5km will complete one lap, the 5km runners will complete two laps, and those registered for the 10km will complete four laps.
Race Categories:
10km Run - Four laps for committed runners who want to push their limits and stand strong for sustainability
5km Run - A steady two-lap challenge for those ready to go the extra mile for a cleaner planet
2.5km Run - Perfect for beginners and families, a single lap that represents your first step toward change
What's Included:
An ECORUN event t-shirt made from sustainable materials
A token of appreciation for all participants
A finishers' medal upon race completion
1st, 2nd & 3rd place medals awarded to top finishers in each age group and distance category
