Eco friendly film screening is an open cinema screening platform which is located Sohrawardy Udyan, Shahbag. This initiative was initiated by HM production & Multimedia and International Academy of Film & Media -IAFM as a co- host partner where independent films from all over the world will be screened within a natural vibe. Also film education session, climate and environment issues will be promoted and awareness campaign will be initiated. Introduction
The proposed initiative is an eco-friendly open-air film screening event at the Unmukta Cinema Chattar, situated in Sohrawardy Udyan, Shahbag, and Dhaka. This event is a collaborative effort spearheaded by HM Production & Multimedia, in collaboration with the International Academy of Film and Media and in partnership with Tactsoft Limited, BHE Uni, Green Bangla Coalition and other stakeholders. The primary focus of this welfare based humanitarian initiative is to promote art house cinema with an eco-friendly environment, provide film education, and raise awareness about maintaining a healthy and clean environment.
Objectives
1. Promote national and international Art House Cinema
- Showcase a selection of critically acclaimed regional and ethnic art house films to cultivate an appreciation for diverse cinematic expressions among mass audience.
- Support independent filmmakers by providing a platform for their work to gain visibility.
2. Film Education
- Conduct workshops and discussions to educate audiences about the nuances of film-making and the significance of art house cinema.
- Collaborate with film experts and educators to deliver insightful sessions.
3. Environmental Awareness
- Implement eco-friendly practices throughout the event to demonstrate sustainable living.
- Engage audiences in activities and discussions focused on environmental conservation and the importance of a clean environment.

Screening Schedule:
Every Friday weekend from the evening 6: 00 pm to 11: 30 pm multiple screenings will be held. Global standard Local and international feature, shot and documentary films will be screened.
