Are you looking for an awesome opportunity to give back to our community and support Papatūānuku?
Come and clean 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐭 𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐬 area. Followed by a guest speech by Urban Ark! Refreshment afternoon tea will also be provided.
Meet at 1 pm, 27 April, Sunday at Mt Albert Library, 84 Saint Lukes Road, Mount Albert.
All cleaning tools will be provided.
Mount Albert TEAM UP 2 CLEAN UP is special run by 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐤 and Earth Action Trust and this event is part of the 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭-𝐄𝐝𝐞𝐧 & 𝐏𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐚̄𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐚 𝐄𝐜𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥.
This is a fantastic way to get out of that same-old-same-old routine, meet new people, exchange ideas to spark new ones, get light exercise and most of all make a difference to our community and environment.
𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨:
- Check weather forecast to wear appropriate gear
- Wear closed and comfy walking shoes
- Children under 16 must be accompanies by an adult
- Practice good hygiene, stay home if you’re sick
