Join us for a free guided walk exploring the wonders of eclipses! Ever wondered what exactly happens during an eclipse? Here's your chance to find out! On April 8th, at 3:13 pm, Ann Arbor will be in the zone for a near-total solar eclipse, with 98% coverage! We invite you to gather at the front steps by 1:45 pm. We'll provide eclipse glasses on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early to secure yours! From there, we'll embark on a leisurely hike to the labyrinth, where we'll gather to witness the eclipse together. During the walk, you'll learn about the science behind eclipses—why they occur, what unfolds during these celestial events, and how nature responds to the near-total darkness brought on by the eclipse.
No pre-registration is necessary. Simply join us in front of the building, and we'll set off together. The walk will conclude around 4:30 pm, as we return to the starting point.
This event is free and open to all - We look forward to sharing this special event with you!
