Are you ready for an out-of-this-world experience? Enjoy music by DJ Silkee, face painting, and roving entertainment at the all-ages community Eclipse Celebration!
The NASA livestream will be on view inside.
This astronomical event has been dubbed the second "Great American Eclipse" because it will be visible across the United States, like the one in 2017. The peak of the eclipse in our area is at 2:05p, with the moon covering 97.9% of the sun. Eclipse glasses for safe viewing will be provided.
**Eclipse glasses will be available starting April 1.**
Parking will be limited—why not ride MTD? During National Library Week (April 7–13) you can ride MTD for free when you show your Champaign Public Library or Urbana Free Library card! Enjoy relaxing on your next trip around town when you "Read & Ride with MTD."
