Get ready for night of that post-punk, psych-rock, rock-n-roll jam band sound. Hailing from Detroit, ECK! sweeps in to City Park Grill on Saturday, June 22!ECK! is a band formed in Detroit during the beginning of the pandemic. Assembling some demos remotely by John Szymanski (Hentchmen/Paybacks/SSM) and Ray Thompson (Oscillating Fan Club/Wildcatting), the blueprint of their first LP was formed. Behold Eck! was released in 2022 when Brandon Moss (Bars Of Gold/Bear Vs. Shark) joined on drums, and Paige Huguelet joined on bass.
Part of the Sol of the Lost Tamarack Satellite Series, ECK! also plays the festival on Sunday at 4pm, and Northland Brewing in Indian River on Sunday at 6pm.
