ECHS PTSA is excited to announce our first ever Carnival with Caldwell Heights Elementary and their PTA!! Our goal is to support the students and staff of Caldwell Heights Elementary through this community-wide service project sponsored by ECHS PTSA. Caldwell Heights is a Title 1 school with 624 students located approximately 1 mile from the ECHS/ACC campuses. ECHS students already partner with CHE students as a part of the P.A.L.S. program which allows our students to mentor CHE students through building friendships and serving as role models. Approximately 60% of their students are Economically Disadvantaged and one-third are Bilingual or ESL students. CHE's vision is "growing hearts & minds to make positive change in the world." They are in need of additional funds for Classroom Resources to enrich their learning environment and help them achieve their vision. Additionally, we hope to be able to increase ECHS PTSA funding for things like Grants & Scholarships. Our long term goal is to make this an Annual Event for our joint communities.
