Step inside the stories that built The Blackburn.� This guided tour takes you behind the scenes of The Blackburn Inn & Conference Center, once a 19th-century mental health facility and now a thoughtfully restored boutique hotel. Explore the original architecture of Thomas Blackburn’s Greek Revival masterpiece, hear the untold stories of patients, prisoners, and craftsmen, and peek inside the historic Trades Building—where lives were rebuilt through skilled labor. It’s Staunton history, reimagined.Tours are approximately 45 minutes in length and depart from the library located in the main hotel.
Tickets are $35 per person and include a drink of your choice at Second Draft Bistro following the tour. Solid sole shoes and layers are recommended—masks provided!
