Echoes of the East is an exciting show highlighting the wonderful world of Middle Eastern dance and music. It is part of the first ever Adelaide Middle Eastern Dance Festival! Some of Adelaide’s leading oriental (belly) dance artists will take to the stage along with the ever-graceful Eva Cass from Perth, who is considered to be one of the pioneers of oriental dance in Australia.
From Greece to Turkiye, from Turkiye to Egypt, guests will go on a magic carpet ride through this exotic and mesmerising Middle East and North Africa with authentic dance styles including Oriental, Baladi, Saidi, Bandari, Roman and more. Musicians Harry Trikaliotis and Kristopher Ioannides will whisk you away to this world with their music from Turkish, Arabic and Greek genres.
