This year’s United in Love Event is taking on a little different look during a different month! On Friday, September 27th at the Rose Lehrman Theater at Harrisburg Area Community College, Christian Churches United and Sankofa African American Theatre Company are partnering to connect the Harrisburg community to the realities over poverty and homelessness here in Harrisburg. This event will invite each of us to see our place in one another’s stories and the hope that echoes throughout our community when we unite in love. We are extremely excited for the opportunity to partner with Sankofa African American Theatre Company for this night. While there won’t be a sit-down meal, rest assured there will still be food, a silent auction, and live music along with the performances by SAATC.
