Don’t miss our Echoes of Exeter Cemetery Walk on Saturday, September 13, at the Exeter District Cemetery located at 719 E. Marinette Ave. in Exeter.Attendees will stroll through the Exeter District Cemetery and visit the gravesites of some of its early Exeter area citizens, including Rena Pennebaker Cary, Elizabeth Dobson, Dr. James Dungan, Kenny Guinn, Norbert Mixter, and Mary Jane Sweeney. Local costumed actors will bring these real people to life and portray how they helped shape the city’s early beginnings. Some actors are living descendants of the deceased. Participants will divide into groups and rotate between gravesites after each short performance.
Tickets are on sale for $20 per person and are available for purchase at CACHE, Exeter Public Cemetery District, Exeter Chamber of Commerce, NSE Insurance, or on our website at https://cach-exeter.org/event/cemetery-walk/.
