Every movement in a duet creates a shared breath — a ripple of energy that flows between two dancers. Join us on an immersive, two-part journey as we explore how intentional connection breathes life into the Siren Project Flamenco Fan vocabulary in duet form.
Part I: Echoes of a Shared Breath - RECORDING AVAILABLE NOW

This calm and flowing introduction to duets focuses on slow vocabulary and the magic that lies in intentional, grounded movement between two dancers.
Starting with basic duet formations such as Face to Face and Flat Formation, we will then explore popular The Siren Project moves like the Barrel-ish Turn, Wrap Around Turn, Sahra Turn and Reverse Barrel Turn.
Building on this foundation, you will then learn some Calaneya duet variations that embrace the intimacy between two dancers. Drawing inspiration from Gabriella's FCBD® inspired duet concepts, we will discover fresh approaches to communicating with our dance partner.
This workshop is perfect for dancers new to dancing in duets or anyone who wants to review and polish the fundamentals. Participants should already be familiar with the The Siren Project Flamenco Fan Format. Dani will briefly review them, but this is not a beginner course for fan basics.

In the fiery continuation of our duet series, we turn up the tempo and explore the more dynamic, fast-paced vocabulary of Flamenco Fan duets.
We'll begin with a quick review of formations before moving on to essential fast passings such as Roundhouse, Hip Twist, and FABSWAAT. Then we’ll dive into more complex territory with Sunanda Duet, Flamenco Stepping, and Jrisi Combo — pushing your coordination, timing, and creativity. Depending on the group's knowledge, we may even be able to cover more steps.
Rather than just mastering complex steps, we’ll focus on playfulness and communication between partners. This workshop is ideal for dancers who already understand basic duet structures and are confident with the fast vocabulary of The Siren Project Flamenco Fan Format..
💃 Duet Tip:
To make the most of this experience, we recommend signing up with a partner, especially if you’re joining online. In-person participants will be partnered on-site. Very experienced dancers can also join solo and explore duet practice imaginatively.
